Hi, I'm Ren.

At least that's what all of my friends and colleagues call me. 

I've been involved in music pretty much all of my life. I started playing bands in High School, then studied Recording and Production under the Fabulous Don Dorsey of Disney and Universal parks fame. During my internship I was blessed to work on projects by Kenny Loggins and Stevie Wonder.

In the mid-1980's I bought in to Studio Orange (Jose Feliciano's old studio), moved it to Santa Ana and then sold it. 

I built a production studio I call Sound Catcher Studio in Nashville, TN. It was a full production studio space with a control room and isolation room. 

Currently, I have a single room production suite in my home in Alamogordo, NM. I run Cubase and Logic Pro on an iMac 27" with 32GB RAM and a 500gb SSD.
I love producing Americana, Folk, Indie, Country, Rock, Blues, Bluegrass and many other styles of music.


I currently have the capacity to work real time with people all over the world. I currently have clients in Ireland, England and Australia that I'm working with, as well as a host of artists and songwriters all over the US.
